Manufacturers need trained workers for high paying production jobs but can’t find them. Now you can become eligible for an exciting, challenging career in manufacturing. The Certified Production Technician (CPT) training is your gateway into this growing industry. More than 50 employers in the metropolitan area recognize this certification! The CPT is ideal for unemployed job seekers and those who want to change careers.

CPT training includes 140 hours of instructor-led study in four production modules: Safety; Qual-ity Practices and Measurement; Manufacturing Processes, and Maintenance and Awareness.

Class Schedule

Begins Monday, October 27, 2014 for five weeks, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily, at WorkOne, 2125 State Street, New Albany, IN 47150. No classes on Nov.4, Nov 11 or Nov. 24 – 28.

Required: Trainees must successfully complete the NCRC pre-assessment at WorkOne on or before Wednesday, October 8, 2014. This assessment takes approximately four hours to complete.

College credit: Successful students earn up to 6 credit hours at Ivy Tech
